What is Deep learning?
Deep learning is a branch of machine learning that uses many-layered neural networks, and is good with complex data such as images, voice and text.
Each layer learns a level of detail: the first spots edges, the next shapes, the next a whole jacket. Deep learning is why machines can read text in photos, understand speech and write like ChatGPT. The price is lots of data and powerful computers to train it.
Deep learning in a shop
Apps that remove the background from product photos or read the amount on a receipt photo use deep learning.
