What is Vietnam's AI Law?
Vietnam's AI Law (No. 134/2025/QH15) is the country's first law dedicated to AI, passed on 10 December 2025 and in force since 1 March 2026.
Law No. 134/2025/QH15 was passed by the National Assembly on 10 December 2025. It covers developing, providing and using AI systems in Vietnam, foreign providers included. One point for business owners: AI-made or AI-edited content that could mislead people about facts or about a real person's appearance must be labelled.
